Rooted – Upcoming Exhibition at Circle Gallery
We are delighted to announce our next exhibition, Rooted, which will run from Saturday 4th October to Saturday 18th October at Circle Gallery.
The exhibition will open with a special drinks preview on Friday 3rd October from 5–7pm, giving guests the first opportunity to view this exciting new collection of work.
Bringing together the work of both accomplished and emerging artists. Rooted explores the connection between art and the natural world. Featuring a much anticipated new collection of work by Amanda Padfield. Alongside artists Simon Bailey, Nigel Smith, Leila Barton, Yharnna, Jo Starkey, Joe Galindo, and Sharon Goodenough – Rooted explores the many ways art can connect us to place, nature, and ourselves.
The exhibition title reflects themes that are central to each artist’s practice: grounding, memory, and a search for belonging in an ever-changing world. Through diverse mediums and approaches, the artists present work that is rich in narrative and layered with personal and collective meaning.
We wanted to create an exhibition that feels timely and resonant. Rooted is about finding stability and inspiration in the world around us – whether that’s through the natural landscape, personal history, or community. Each of the artists brings their own interpretation of what it means to be ‘rooted,’ and together, their work creates a fascinating dialogue
