Joe was born in West Yorkshire in 1994 and showed artistic talent from a young age. After university and time spent working in various jobs, he began painting full-time, taking commissions and exploring portraiture before developing the abstract landscapes that first brought his work into galleries.

At 24, he left the UK to travel across Asia and Australia, where the jungles, coastlines, and wildlife inspired a new energy in his practice. Exhibiting and selling in Melbourne and Sydney, he was influenced both by the artists he met and the dramatic environments he experienced. Returning home in 2022, he reignited his passion for painting and set out to pursue his purpose as a professional artist.

Galindo’s work is defined by inventive techniques and unconventional tools, using layers of paint and mixed media to create depth, contrast, and movement. Powerful colours are combined with expressive depictions of wild animals, resulting in striking, one-of-a-kind works that are both dynamic and emotive.
