Joe Galindo
Joe Galindo is a contemporary artist born in West Yorkshire in 1994, whose work is shaped by travel, experimentation, and a deep connection to the natural world. Showing artistic talent from a young age, Joe pursued his creative path through university before working across various roles, eventually returning to painting full-time. Early commissions and portraiture gave way to the abstract landscape style that first brought Joe Galindo’s artwork into galleries.
At the age of 24, Joe Galindo left the UK to travel across Asia and Australia, where jungles, coastlines, and wildlife injected new energy into his practice. Exhibiting and selling work in Melbourne and Sydney, he was influenced by both the artists he encountered and the dramatic environments he experienced. After returning to the UK in 2022, Joe reignited his passion for painting and committed fully to his purpose as a professional contemporary artist.
Joe Galindo’s contemporary artworks are defined by inventive techniques and the use of unconventional tools, with layered paint and mixed media creating depth, contrast, and movement. Bold, powerful colours are combined with expressive depictions of wild animals, resulting in striking, one-of-a-kind artworks that feel dynamic, emotive, and alive. Joe Galindo’s work is available to collect through Circle Gallery, where his distinctive approach continues to resonate with collectors of contemporary art.
