Kimberley Harris
Kimberley Harris is a contemporary landscape artist whose luminous oil paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of the English countryside. One of her earliest memories is visiting a J.M.W. Turner exhibition with her father — an experience that sparked a lifelong admiration for light, atmosphere, and expressive landscapes.
After gaining a Diploma in Art and Design in 2005, Kimberley rediscovered her passion for painting in 2014 when a chance meeting with a professional artist introduced her to oils and palette knife techniques. From that moment, her signature style began to emerge: richly textured, light-filled scenes that celebrate the quiet poetry of rural life.
Working primarily with a palette knife, Kimberley layers and blends oils to create tonal depth, vibrant light, and a sense of stillness. Her focus is on how light and colour interact throughout the day — a theme often influenced by her admiration for Turner’s work. Each painting invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and experience the landscape in a new and tender way.
