Sharon Goodenough is a painter whose work reflects a lifelong love of colour, creativity, and capturing moments in time. Her artistic journey began in childhood, evolving through drawing, painting, photography, and even special effects makeup. This diverse creative path has shaped her instinctive approach and trained eye — qualities that shine through in her expressive, light-filled artworks.

After early experience working as a photographer’s assistant, Sharon became known for her hand-tinted colour work, before turning her skills to the world of special effects, collaborating with emerging musicians and celebrities on editorial and album projects. Yet it was during her Fine Art studies that she truly found her voice — deeply influenced by the Impressionists and their ability to paint what they saw, thought, and felt.

Today, Sharon paints full time, embracing the freedom to follow her intuition. Her work is driven by light, atmosphere, and emotion — with a focus on capturing not just a scene, but the fleeting mood that surrounds it.
