Jean Picton

Jean Pictons work is more about “painting” than “flowers”. The subject matter is just a means to explore the skill of tonal values, composition and the drawn line. Jean Picton visited India in 2011 and the bright colours left a lasting impression.  The intense colours surrounding her and the importance of the relationship of colours to then create movement on canvas. Jean is a vibrant artist, and her paintings are loved and enjoyed by many.
