Popular, mixed media artist, Chess, has created a series of beautiful British bird collages in her 'Blue Skies' Collection. The original collages use genuine newspaper and magazine articles, over which Chess paints with real newspaper inks to give her work unique perspective. In 'Charm' she used the following: Silver Star – 16^th January 1960 No. 927 – Strange Voyage by Anne Marsh; Silver Star – 26^th March 1960 No. 937 – Adverts and Illustrations; Silver Star – 1^st October 1958 No. 865 – The Girl in the Picture and Adverts and Illustrations.
