An extraordinary portrait of David Bowie, capturing the unmistakable presence and magnetic individuality of one of the most influential figures in popular music. Working with a stripped-back photographic image, Gill Storr builds a rich visual narrative through vintage concert posters, tickets, typography and carefully researched references to Bowie's remarkable career. Expressive painted details bring warmth and depth to his face, while the layered background creates a fascinating glimpse into the music and culture that surrounded him. With its combination of intricate detail, contemporary colour and musical nostalgia, this original mixed-media artwork is a celebration of an artist whose influence continues to inspire generations.
