Popular, mixed media artist, Chess, has created a series of beautiful British bird collages in her 'Blue Skies' Collection. The original collages use genuine newspaper and magazine articles, over which Chess paints with real newspaper inks to give her work unique perspective. In 'Larks and Landed Gentry' she used the following: Illustrated – 13^th January 1940 – Landed Gentry by James P. Loughnan; Larks by S.L. Bensusan; and RAF Illustrations.
