The unmistakable energy of New York City comes to life in Manhattan Momentum, a striking monochrome cityscape by contemporary artist Ben Wainwright.

Looking down a bustling Manhattan avenue, the composition draws you into the heart of the city, where towering skyscrapers, busy streets and iconic yellow cabs (captured here in shades of grey) create a wonderful sense of movement and atmosphere. Working in his distinctive black and white palette, Ben captures the architectural drama of New York with a beautiful balance of detail and expressive mark-making. Strong contrasts of light and shadow emphasise the scale of the buildings, while the perspective leads your eye through the streets towards the distant skyline. There is a timeless, almost cinematic quality to the piece, evoking the excitement and character of a city that never stands still. Presented in a contemporary black frame with a crisp white mount, Manhattan Momentum is a sophisticated artwork that would sit beautifully in both modern and traditional interiors. A wonderful choice for lovers of New York, architecture and atmospheric cityscapes.
