Step into the peaceful beauty of the woodland with Quiet Forest, a stunning large-scale original painting by contemporary artist Sally Oasis. A collection of elegant silver birch trees stands tall against a beautifully layered backdrop of soft, earthy tones. Rich burgundy, warm ochre, muted greens and delicate touches of gold come together to create a woodland scene full of depth, texture and natural beauty. Working with an initial layer of acrylic before building the composition with oil paint, Sally creates a wonderfully expressive surface. Confident brushstrokes define the distinctive white bark of the silver birches, while delicate splashes and intricate marks suggest the movement of leaves, dappled light and the ever-changing textures of the forest floor. There is a lovely balance between energy and tranquillity in this painting. The richly detailed undergrowth contrasts with the calm, vertical lines of the trees, drawing your eye through the composition and inviting you to lose yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the woodland. At an impressive 150 x 100 cm, Quiet Forest has a wonderful presence. Its sophisticated, natural colour palette makes it a versatile statement piece, bringing warmth, texture and a calming connection to nature into a contemporary or traditional interior. A beautiful original artwork that captures the quiet magic of the countryside and the simple pleasure of being surrounded by nature.
