Veronika Benoni
Veronika Benoni’s art is a celebration of architectural beauty—layered, intricate, and full of texture. Having trained at the esteemed Leningrad College of Arts and the USSR Academy of Arts, Veronika began her creative career as a silversmith, designing fine jewellery with her partner, Ulian Benoni. The couple later relocated to Prague, where the city’s gothic rooftops and winding streets sparked a new chapter in her artistic journey.
Inspired by the built environment, Veronika developed a distinctive approach to urban landscape painting. Her compositions fuse cityscapes together in dreamy, textural layers—landmarks rising from one another like a living tapestry of architecture. Her use of gold and silver leaf highlights the ornate beauty of buildings, adding a luminous quality that shifts with the light, just like the cities she paints.
Her love for art began at a young age and was nurtured by her grandfather, an architect who encouraged her vision. That architectural influence remains central to her work, imbuing each piece with precision, grandeur, and depth.
