Powerful yet beautifully sensitive, Saffron by Anna Cher is a striking original painting that captures the strength, elegance and character of the horse through expressive, contemporary brushwork. Rich charcoal and earthy tones are brought to life with flashes of burnt orange, soft blue and creamy whites, creating a wonderful contrast of colour and texture. Anna's energetic application of paint, sweeping marks and spontaneous splashes give the composition a real sense of movement, while the horse's gentle expression brings a captivating softness to the piece. The balance between bold abstraction and carefully observed detail is what makes this painting so special, allowing the beauty of the horse to emerge from the layers of colour and texture. A wonderfully atmospheric piece that would make a stunning focal point in a contemporary interior.
