Victoria Meering
Victoria Meering is a self-taught artist based in Surrey whose expressive abstract landscapes blur the boundaries between seen and unseen, reality and emotion. With a background in nursing and a personal journey shaped by autism and dyslexia, Victoria brings deep sensitivity and quiet strength to her work. Art, for her, has become both a refuge and a way to connect with the world beyond words.
Working under the theme “Being In the Presence of Absence,” Victoria explores the emotional imprint of landscapes—what lingers in memory, what is felt but not always seen. Her intuitive process uses sculpted paints, textured pastes, and a nuanced palette to create compositions that are immersive and atmospheric. Edges blur, colours merge, and form becomes suggestion, inviting the viewer to step into a place of introspection and wonder.
Inspired by landscapes from around the globe, her work speaks to a universal connection with nature.
