Jasmine Rosten-Edwards
With a practice developed over more than three decades, Jasmine Rosten-Edwards is a Surrey-based, self-taught artist known for her abstract, still life and figurative abstract paintings on canvas. Working primarily with acrylics, she values the medium for its durability, versatility and richly hued, water-resistant qualities.
Her work draws influence from Cubism, Geometric Abstraction and Expressionism, with each painting reflecting a personal journey shaped by lived experience, curiosity and a desire to connect. Her practice explores ideas and emotions that often sit beyond the limits of language.
After a successful career in the corporate world and completing an MBA, she chose to pursue her lifelong passion for art. Her work is held in private international collections across the UK, the United States, the Middle East and New Zealand. Created as confident statement pieces, her paintings are intended to endure and resonate over time.
