Colourful, provocative and unmistakably contemporary, Wired for Desire  by Natasha Boast is an original resin heart sculpture packed with playful symbolism.

Set against vivid pink resin, the iconic Chanel-inspired double-C motif is picked out in shimmering gold and brightly coloured details, while loops of barbed wire introduce an unexpected edge to the piece. The contrast between luxury, beauty and something altogether more dangerous gives the sculpture its wonderfully rebellious character.

Fun at first glance but with a darker twist beneath the surface, Wired for Desire 2 plays with ideas of attraction, consumerism and the complicated nature of wanting what we perhaps shouldn’t. A bold little statement piece with plenty of attitude.
